A powerful red wine from Échezeaux Grand Cru

Produced from plots with a total area of 1.14 hectares in the Échezeaux Grand Cru appellation, the Échezeaux Grand Cru of the Domaine des Perdrix is a single-varietal Pinot Noir red wine. The vines are planted on clay-limestone soils, predominantly clayey. The ageing of the wine is carried out exclusively in new Burgundy barrels of 228 liters, over an average period of 18 months.

L'Échezeaux Grand Cru 2015 of Domaine des Perdrix reveals a garnet colour with reflections of dark ruby. The nose develops aromas of black fruits and spices, along with subtle notes of chocolate. The wine is powerful on the palate and offers mature and softened tannins. The finish reveals magnificent length. This wonderful wine has great ageing potential and should be consumed before 2028-2031.
