Grattamacco 2010

The 2010 Bogheri Superiore of Grattamacco releases an intense and very elegant nose on blueberry and blackcurrant aromas, with a hint of balsamic vinegar and herbs. On the palate, the wooden notes in this Tuscan wine are well integrated with spicy notes on the finish. The texture is thin with a good balance between tannins and suppleness. This wine shows incredible freshness. The 2010 Grattamacco comes from a plot of 10 hectares and is mainly composed of Cabernet Sauvignon, followed by Merlot and Sangiovese. This wine was aged in barrels for 18 months before a 12 months bottle ageing.
