Jean Chartron : Rully Village "Montmorin" 2015

Rully Village Montmorin 2015 from Jean Chartron : a nice and fruity white wine

The Rully Village Montmorin by Jean Chartron is a 100% Chardonnay white wine produced in the Rully Village appellation. The vines are planted in clay and limestone soils. Fermentation is done in oak barrels (10% new and 90% from 1 to 5 previous uses). The wine is then aged in casks on fine lees for 8 months and finished for 4 months in vats before bottling.

Displaying a lime-yellow colour at the tasting, the Rully Village Montmorin 2015 of Jean Chartron reveals smoky, woody aromas from its ageing, accompanied by notes of dried fruits. This wine reveals on the palate tasty touches of white fruits, such as pear and nectarine. This wine is to be consumed as young as possible, but can easily be enjoyed until 2020.
