A balanced Chablis Grand Cru white wine from La Chablisienne
White wine produced exclusively from Chardonnay in the Chablis Grand Cru appellation, the Chablis Grand Cru "Bougros" from La Chablisienne benefits from plots aged 30 years on average and planted on medium and superior Kimmeridgian soils with alternating limestone and marl in Exogyra virgula. The ageing of the Bougros 2012 de La Chablisienne is done in tanks and barrels, for 20 months on average, all on fine lees.
With its brilliant pale yellow colour, the Chablis Grand Cru "Bougros" 2012 from La Chablisienne has develops caramel and mint fragrances on the nose. The palate reveals an explosion of flavours, offering a beautiful texture, complex, full and long. The finish reveals subtle and fresh aniseed and menthol touches. A well-balanced La Chablisienne wine with good potential for ageing.
