The 2012 Pommard Village from Domaine Chanson Père et Fils is located on the hills of the Pommard village. This cuvee pays tribute to this wine that is one of the most famous of the Côte de Beaune. This pure Pinot Noir wine is the combination of limy silty-clay soils on a deep structure and of a careful vinification. The 2012 Pommard Village from Domaine Chanson Père et Fils was aged in oak barrels for 18 months, in order to produce a balanced and structured wine with a delicate wood. A good freshness is given off on the nose with red berry notes such as cherry and raspberry. On the palate, the structure is elegant and the wine is deep.
