This Right Bank property in the Bordeaux region extends over a 12-hectare vineyard with a clay-limestone terroir typical of the Saint-Émilion plateau. In blend of Merlot and Cabernet Franc typical of the Right Bank and under the guidance of Thomas Duclos from the prestigious Oenoteam laboratory, the Château Joanin Bécot 2017 has a profile worthy of the most beautiful successes of this atypical vintage. With its aromas of black berries, raspberry and plum, the nose seduces. It is very precise, revealing a perfect ripeness of the fruits and evolving beautiful notes of tobacco. The attack on the palate flatters with its roundness, structured by ripe and velvety tannins that leave a soft impression, prolonging a moment of greed with an elegance on the long, fresh finish.
