Description
A crisp and lively biodynamic white wine from Languedoc
The Domaine Leon Barral 2015 is a biodynamic white wine classified Vin de Pays. It is a traditional old-vine field blend of 80% Terret Blanc and Gris, 10% Viognier and 10% Roussanne, originating from a 3-hectare of vineyard, where vines are aged between 20 and 90 years. The grapes macerate for only around 3-4 hours in the press before fermentation. The wine is lightly oaked and not filtered before bottling. Only native yeasts are used in the production of this wine.
The Vin de Pays de l'Herault Blanc 2015 from Domaine Leon Barral is an aromatic blend presenting a straw yellow colour. The nose is very aromatic, rich with notes of mango, pineapple and honey. On the palate this wine is extremely dry but maintains a very full body with tropical fruit and citrus flavours. This Languedoc white wine offers a crisp and lively finish, which makes it an ideal wine to pair with food.
