A robust red wine from Côtes du Rhône

The Côtes du Rhône red "Clos de l'Hermitage" by Jean Alesi is a wine from a 4-hectare vineyard located in the Chartreuse district of Villeuneuve-lez-Avignon, in the Côtes du Rhône appellation. The vines are planted on clay-limestone soils. The ageing of the wine is carried out in oak barrels (of which 5 to 25% are new barrels, depending on the vintage), for 8 months. The blend of the wine is composed of a third Grenache, a third Mourvèdre and a third Syrah.

At tasting, the Côtes du Rhône red "Clos de l'Hermitage" 2014 by Jean Alesi reveals rich aromas on the nose. The wine is robust in the mouth, with body and beautiful flavours.
