This single-varietal Chardonnay white wine is produced in the Pernand-Vergelesses appellation from vineyards planted on clay-limestone soils. The fermentation is carried out in oak barrels (30% new and 70% from 1 to 5 years old). The ageing is first done in barrels on fine lees for 12 months, and then in tanks for a period of 4 additional months.
