Description
The 2010 Domaine du Coulet Billes Noires is composed of Syrah grapes that grew on "Gore" terraces -damaged granite- in the appellation of Cornas. The old Syrah vines are about 65 years of age and are cultivated in biodynamic viticulture by Matthieu Barret and received the Ecocert certification. The wine displays an almost black-tinted bright red colour. On the nose, it is a strong and very aromatic wine on very ripe red berries and minerality. On the palate, the tannins are elegant and silky whereas the finish is fresh and balanced.
