Robert Parker

Robert M. Parker, Jr.

A stunning blend of 85% Sauvignon Blanc and 15% Semillon, this medium-bodied wine offers up hints of citrus oil, orange zest and honeyed grapefruit. It should drink well for a decade.

Wine Spectator

James Molesworth

Very juicy, with an almost plump core of grapefruit pulp and straw, but the bracing chamomile, quinine and quince notes harness this well, lending zip and length to the rich finish. Drink now through 2013. Tasted twice, with consistent notes. 830 cases made.

Decanter

A delicious 2008, singing with the salinity that takes pole position in older whites without sacrificing minerality or juiciness. It has flavours of white pear and finely drawn citrus, with the saffron-edged sweetness of age. Perfect for drinking now.

James Suckling

Lemon sorbet and sliced green apples on the nose. Full-bodied, with a chalky lime and green-apple palate. Dense and rich, with just a hint of cream. Drink now.

Jeff Leve

Leve Jeff

At 10 years of age, this is really hitting its stride. The wine is fresh, stony, citrusy, and delivers a ripe, sweet, crisp, citrus-filled finish. Sweet and fresh, with good energy, it’s showing real strength today. I’m not sure it will improve, but it’s just great now—so why wait?

Weinwisser

Very pale yellow with a slight greenish hue. Delicately perfumed white-peach bouquet, subtle fullness. Elegant palate, almost creamy, though the body remains slender and very elegant, with great length.

René Gabriel

Very pale, slightly greenish yellow. Delicate, perfumed white-peach bouquet, subtly rounded. Elegant palate, almost creamy, while the body remains slender and very elegant, great length. (17/20). 16: At a medical conference. A few bottles showed fine sherry notes. Others were still crisp and fresh. So different bottles.

André Kunz

Fresh, silky, subtly soapy bouquet, lychee, fir honey. Silky palate with delicate bitterness, fine fruit, well-integrated acidity, good aromatics, long finish. 17/20 drink - 2025

La RVF

Complete, with richness, volume and a lovely aromatic palette. The palate is nicely driven by a fine acidity.

Le Figaro Vin

A beautiful, full-bodied wine that combines the freshness of Sauvignon with the complexity of Sémillon, all in perfect balance. A tremendous success.

Jean-Marc Quarin

Jean-Marc Quarin

Pale color. An aromatic nose, fruity and delicately creamy. Broad and luscious from the attack, then particularly juicy; the wine builds powerfully mid-palate and is full of fruit. It melts on the palate and finishes rich, very long, and complex. A delight.

Wine Enthusiast

R.V.

89-91 Barrel sample. Rich and powerful, this has big, full flavors. It has an oily texture, suggesting high alcohol, the wood element balanced. The aftertaste has a spicy element.
