Description
The estate
Since its creation in 1946, the Ferraton Père & Fils estate has become an emblematic reference for Rhône Valley wines. For several generations, Ferraton Père & Fils has advocated viticultural practices that respect both vines and people, and produce wines that bring out the potential and aromatic finesse of fine appellations such as Hermitage, Côte-Rôtie, Condrieu, etc. The estate tends to an exceptional vineyard that has been certified in Organic Farming since 1998 and then Demeter in 2010.
The vineyard
Ferraton Père & Fils' Lieu-Dit Montmain 2018 is a Côte-Rôtie wine that stems from a parcel located in the north of the appellation. Facing south/southwest on a slope, this terroir is composed of mica schist and granite soils.

Nose
The nose is pure, exuding fruity (cherry, redcurrant, black fruit) and floral fragrances.
