This extra-dry sparkling wine produced in-between Conegliano and Valdobbiadene, Villa Sandi's Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore is produced from vines planted on soils consisting of moraine, limestone, silt and a clay-limestone mixture. The grapes are pneumatically pressurized for gentle pressing. The must obtained is then added to temperature-controlled tanks for the second fermentation. Select yeasts are then added to the must, which is then placed in new containers, where the fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature of 15 to 16 ° C. Once the desired alcohol and sugar contents have been obtained, the fermentation is stopped with refrigeration. After a short period of decantation, the wine can finally be bottled.
Villa Sandi's Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore reveals a pale straw-yellow colour with fine, persistent bubbles. The nose develops intense fruit aromas with ripe golden apples and subtle floral notes (acacia). The wine is fresh, slightly sweet, and tasty. On the finish, Villa Sandi's Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore is fruity and harmonious.
