Surrounded by his family and a team of enthusiasts, Willi Bründlmayer, a modern and innovative winemaker, has successfully turned his parents' estate into an internationally renowned reference. It is indeed thanks to his drive, determination and his great know-how that the wines of Weingut Bründlmayer are current-day symbols of fine Austrian wines. Moreover, these wines respect the organic farming programme of the Austrian government to a tee. In addition to this organic viticultural approach, a unique terroir at the crossroads of the Danube and the Kamp valleys ensures the variety and uniqueness of these rare wines. The wines by Weingut Bründlmayer, a member of the International Wine Academy, stand out for their Austrian identity and their international style.
The Steinmassl vineyard from which this Riesling Langenloiser Steinmassl 2020 is made is characterised by its rocky soil, a typical feature of the Kamptal region, which gives the small berries a very aromatic character. The higher vines are planted in a lyre shape, which enables them to enjoy optimal sunlight. The result is a high quality Riesling wine.
Aromatic, the nose reveals gooseberry and red peach fragrances.
The palate is seduced by this wine’s balance, its citrus notes and its mineral and spicy finish.
