Description
The balance and richness of a Sardinian red wine by Argiolas
The estate
Recognised as one of the greatest producers of Sardinian wines, the Argiolas family has been magnifying the terroir of this island, located in the western part of the Italian peninsula, since 1918.
From generation to generation, this family, who own 5 estates, has been producing fine Italian wines that are imbued with their passion and deep respect for the terroir
The wine
Classified as an IGT Isola dei Nuraghi wine, this Korem 2018 vintage from Argiolas is made from grapes that stem from the Sa Tanca estate. This exceptional terroir is located between 250 and 300 metres above sea level and rests upon clay-limestone soils.
Vinification and ageing
The grapes are harvested by hand early in the morning and undergo a maceration that lasts around 10-12 days. Alcoholic fermentation precedes malolactic fermentation.
The blend
