The Expressive Freshness of a Coteaux Varois Rosé from Provence by Château d'Estoublon
The Estate
Rooted in Provençal history since 1489, the Château d'Estoublon has long belonged to the Comtes des Baux. After its acquisition by Ernest Schneider in 1999, it is now managed by the Courbit, Prats (formerly at the helm of Cos d'Estournel) and Bruni-Sarkozy families. This emblematic estate combines heritage, excellence and renewal in an exceptional setting.
The Vineyard
The vineyard extends over a vast 300-hectare domain, with 17 dedicated to vines and 120 to olive trees. Managed according to organic farming principles, this terroir of Provence lies on deep clay and limestone soils, ensuring a perfect balance between fruit maturity and natural freshness.
Winemaking and Aging
After harvest, the grapes are gently pressed. Fermentation takes place at low temperature to preserve aromatic brilliance. The wine is then briefly aged on fine lees in stainless steel and concrete vats to gain texture and complexity.
Blend
Grenache, Cinsault, Syrah and Rolle.
