2009 1er Cru Classe from Sauternes
The 2009 favourable climatic conditions allowed the production of an outstanding vintage in Sauternes. The 2009 Chateau de Rayne Vigneau is a lovely blend of Semillon and Sauvignon Blanc.
On the nose, this wine reveals a remarkable strength through delicate apricot, minty and ginger notes. At first, the palate offers a certain suppleness and freshness. It then opens up on a considerable richness while developing a good balance.
