Francs Magnus reveals a structured and fruity Bordeaux wine

The estate

Château Francs Magnus is a 13 hectare property situated on a limestone plateau.

Vinification and ageing

Once sorted, the grapes went through vinification in stainless steel and cement vats without crushing in order to preserve the integrity of the fruit. Daily pump-overs and punch-downs were carried out. Ageing took place for 70% in vats and 30% in second-fill barrels.

The blend

Produced in the Bordeaux Supérieur appellation, the Château Franc Magnus 2020 was made from a blend of Merlot (90%) and Cabernet Franc (10%).
