The estate
Established in the high-altitude village of Ponte Leccia, Clos Venturi is one of the newest estates in Corsica, born in the early 2000s from the division of the finest terroirs of the Vico estate, another property of Jean-Marc and Manu Venturi.
The wine
"Brama" Biancu Gentile is a Vin de France white wine made from vines planted on schist soils, facing south/southeast on the lower part of the hillside.
Winemaking and aging
Hand-harvested, the grapes are 100% destemmed before an 8-day cold pre-fermentation maceration. Fermentation with indigenous yeasts in concrete tanks, the same vessels used for aging for 6 to 8 months on fine lees.
Grape variety
100% Biancu gentile
