The estate

For centuries, Bisol has been one of the most renowned wine producers in the Veneto region, in Italy, in the heart of the Prosecco production area. Although the First World War brought the estate's activity to a halt, Desiderio Bisol, nicknamed Jeio by his wife, gave the family's production a new lease on life in 1920. Thus, the Desiderio Jeio brand was born.

Desiderio Jeio has become a benchmark producing Prosecco Di Valdobbiadene DOCG (Denominazione di Origine Controllata e Garantita) recognised for its exceptional quality and elegance.

The vineyard

Constantly seeking excellence and paying particular attention to its terroir, the Desiderio Jeio estate manages its vineyards using the Sylvoz pruning method (a long pruning technique) and the double curtain pruning method (two rods per vine are bent into an arch), all while respecting the environment and biodiversity.

The wine

Born on the hills of the DOCG Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore area in the north-east of Italy, Desiderio Jeio's Prosecco Jeio Organic Valdobbiadene Brut reveals the distinctive character of an exceptional terroir as well as the unique style and know-how of the estate.

The dosage is 9 g/litre.

This Prosecco Jeio Organic Valdobbiadene Brut by Desiderio Jeio comprises at least 85% Glera.

The tasting

Colour

Brilliant, this prosecco is a beautiful straw yellow colour. The effervescence is fine and delicate.

Nose

The nose exudes fragrances of ripe yellow fruit. The bouquet is fresh and very elegant.

Palate

Perfectly matching the nose, the mouth seduces with its fruity aromas, its refined structure and its smooth touch.
