Description
The aromatic finesse and elegance of a red wine by Amarone della Valpolicella Classico
The estate
Belonging to the Boscaini family for seven generations, the Masi estate has become a benchmark among Italy's finest wines over the years. Located in the Veneto region, Masi excels in the production of Amarone della Valpolicella Classico, which stems from a unique know-how, using the appassimento (passerillage) method that consists of drying the grapes for several weeks or months to develop and concentrate their aromas.
The wine
Masi's Vaio Armaron 2013 is one of the estate’s iconic wines. Powerful, complex and elegant, this Amarone della Valpolicella Classico wine, made from grapes grown in the eponymous vineyard, was named one of the top ten wines in the world by Wine Spectator in 2015.
