Description
The estate
Yves Canarelli, a visionary and passionate winegrower, took over a vineyard near Figari, in the south of Corsica, in 1993, which he renamed Clos Canarelli. A defender of local grape varieties, he restructured and expanded this terroir to 28 hectares of vines.
The vineyard
The vineyard has been certified Organic since 2002 and biodynamic since 2006. Vinified in modern facilities, the wines of this Corsican estate are recognised for their precision and their authentic expression of their original terroir.
Blend
Produced as a Vin de France, this cuvée is characterised by its variety of grape varieties, including Vermentinu (80%), Carcagholu Neru, Rimenese, Biancu Gentile, as well as Genovese, from Corsica and Italy.
Tasting
Nose
The nose is expressive, mingling floral (white flowers) and plant (bergamot, aniseed) fragrances.
Palate
The palate has a lovely salinity and a delightful minerality and aromatic purity.
