The freshness and creaminess of a Vintage Porto

The property

Founded in 1692 by Job Bearsley, Taylor’s is one of the oldest and most respected Porto houses, a symbol of ancestral know-how passed down from generation to generation. Since its creation more than three centuries ago, Taylor’s has never left the family circle and has managed to preserve its independence. With vineyards located in the Douro Valley, this emblem of Portuguese viticulture masters the entire process of making its Porto wines, from the vineyard to the cellar. Particularly famous for its exceptional cuvées, the estate has built a solid reputation thanks to its Vintage Porto.

The vineyard

The Taylor’s 10 Year Old Tawny is a vintage porto made from a rigorous selection of the best vineyards in the Duriense region, which are the terroirs of Cima Corgo and Douro Superior.

Vinification and ageing

This Vintage Porto benefits from ageing in oak barrels for an average of 10 years.
