Description
A Chablis Premier Cru wine imbued with finesse and freshness
The estate
Since its creation in 1959, Domaine William Fèvre has established itself as a leading figure in the Chablis region. Driven by a constant quest for quality and authenticity, this prestigious Burgundian estate joined the Henriot Group in 1998, further strengthening its presence on the international wine scene.
With a vineyard spanning 78 hectares, including 15.9 hectares classified as Premier Cru and 15.2 hectares as Grand Cru, Domaine William Fèvre oversees a mosaic of parcels with distinct identities, revealing the full complexity of Chablis soils.
The vineyard
"Beauroy" is a Chablis Premier Cru wine from a 1.12-hectare parcel in the Troësmes lieu-dit, prized for its ideal south/southeast exposure and its qualitative contribution to the region's great Premier Crus.
The vines rest on typical Kimmeridgian soils composed of marls and clayey limestones rich in minerals and marine fossils, notably oysters. This unique geological signature gives this Bourgogne wine its intense minerality and seductive structure.
Grape variety
This 2023 Chablis Premier cru "Beauroy" from Domaine William Fèvre is 100% Chardonnay.
