Description
Santenay Village Champs Perrier 2015 by Jean Chartron : a beautifully round white wine
Santenay Village Champs Perrier 2015 by Jean Chartron is a 100% Chardonnay produced in the Santenay Village appellation. The vines are planted on soil composed of clay and limestone. This cuvee is fermented in oak barrels (30% are new and 70% are 1-5 years old). The wines are matured in barrels for 12 months, then spend 4 months in vats before bottling.
At the tasting, Santenay Village Champs Perrier 2015 by Jean Chartron develops smoky aromas which remind us of the limestones that were burned under the sun’s heat. This wine has a strong attack and is very round. Santenay Village Champs Perrier 2015 is drinking well now and will continue to develop until 2020.
This tasting note and commentary describe the wine’s current characteristics. Over time, the wine and this tasting note will adapt.
