The Estate
Created in 2004 during the division of the family estate Michel Colin-Deleger, the Domaine Bruno Colin now extends over 22 climats of the Côte de Beaune, including 8 premiers crus of Chassagne-Montrachet. Led by Bruno Colin, a Beaune-trained winemaker, the estate focuses on authentic expression of Burgundian terroirs.
The Vineyard
The premier cru "Morgeot" is the largest premier cru of Chassagne-Montrachet with its 58 hectares. The Chardonnay vines thrive on clay-limestone soils. Management of this 0.41-hectare vineyard owned by the estate favors organic farming with mechanical soil work and regular plowing.
Winemaking and Ageing
Hand-harvested grapes. Aged for 12 months in 350-litre barrels, 15 to 20% of which are new oak. This phase is followed by 4 to 6 months of maturation in stainless steel vats before bottling, allowing the wine to refine its structure while preserving its characteristic mineral freshness.
Grape Variety
100% Chardonnay.
