Description
The structure and richness of a Fronsac wine
The estate
Château Carlmagnus is located in the Fronsac appellation. Located on Bordeaux’s Right Bank, this estate offers wines in the typical style of its appellation.
The vineyard
Château Carlmagnus 2022 is a Fronsac wine that stems from a 15-hectare vineyard, planted on clay-limestone soils in the middle of a big plateau of natural limestone.
Winemaking and ageing
The grapes were carefully sorted before vinification without crushing in wooden vats in order to preserve the integrity of the fruit. Gentle extraction. Aged for 12 months in tuns and barrels (30% new).
Blend
Château Carlmagnus 2022 is a blend of Merlot (90%) and Cabernet Franc (10%).
