Description
A fresh and complex Sauternes wine
The estate
Château de Myrat is a family-owned estate that lies in the Sauternes appellation. The wines of this Sauternes Grand Cru Classé offer an alluring balance, elegance and sophistication.
The vineyard
Château de Myrat 2021 is a Sauternes wine that stems from a 22-hectare vineyard located in the Haut-Barsac region and rest on a clay-limestone plateau upon fractured limestone.
The vintage
Marked by the frost which had a strong impact on the Sauternes region, 2021 was also marked by a cool summer and a mild end-of-season. The harvested grapes are fresh, juicy and showcase an utterly pure noble rot.
Vinification and ageing
Manual harvesting by successive selections. Vinification by daily batches. Fermentation is carried out in barrels, as is the ageing (40% new barrels) for 18 months.

Sauvignon Blanc (2%)
Muscadelle (2%).
