The tasting
Nose
The nose blends aromas of red fruits, kirsch and blackcurrant cream.
Palate
Balanced, delicate and powerful at the same time, the palate seduces with its crisp acidity as well as its deliciously fruity (blackberries), empyreumatic (tobacco) and peppery notes.
Cellaring
This Saint-Estèphe wine can be cellared until 2031.
Deep garnet-purple colored, the 2016 Haut-Marbuzet has quite a lot of cedar to begin, giving way to cassis, earth and red berries scents. The palate is medium-bodied, firm, grainy and oaky with a chewy finish.
