Château Liot reveals a delicate and refined Sauternes wine
The property
Château Liot is located in the Sauternes appellation, more particularly on the Haut-Barsac plateau. Château Liot has belonged to the David family for several generations.
The vineyard
The Château Liot vineyard covers 40 hectares, including 20 hectares planted in Sauternes and 20 hectares of red and white vines in Graves. This terroir is made up of clay and red soil on a limestone base. Château Liot has been HVE certified since 2020.
Vinification and ageing
Manual harvest by successive sorting. Ageing in barrels lasted 9 to 12 months.
The blend
The Château Liot 2020 is made from a blend of Semillon, Sauvignon Blanc and Muscadelle.
