Château Thieuley 2016

A powerful and well-structured Bordeaux

Produced in the Bordeaux appellation, Chateau Thieuley is a red wine produced on a 22 hectare vineyard. The vines are planted on a gravel-clay based terroir. The vineyard grows 70% Merlot, 25% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 5% Petit Verdot. The wine is treated is three different ways. 1/3 in barrels, 1/3 in casks, and the last third in concrete vats. They are stored for 9-12 months depending on the vintage;

Chateau Thieuley 2016 is a rather dark colour. Scents of red fruits, spices and hints of wood can be found on the nose. Very powerful in the mouth, this vintage combines a magnificent structure with round tannins.
