Description

The estate
Domaine de la Mordorée was created in 1986 by Francis Delorme and his son. Located in Tavel, near Avignon, this estate of 60 hectares spread over 38 plots is the perfect expression of appellations such as Tavel, Lirac, Châteauneuf-du-Pape, Côtes-du-Rhône, or Condrieu.
The vineyard
The Dame Rousse Tavel Rosé 2022 from Domaine de la Mordorée is a Tavel wine from a 9-hectare vineyard. The vines are 40 years old on average and are planted on a mosaic of terroirs, composed of pebbles, sand and limestone slabs.
Winemaking and ageing
Harvest done by hand. 100% destemming, cold maceration followed by temperature control. Fermentation at 18°C.
Blend
La Dame Rousse Tavel Rosé 2022 from Domaine de la Mordorée is the result of a blend of Grenache, Cinsault, Syrah, Mourvèdre, Clairette and Bourboulenc.
