The estate
The Domaine de la Vougeraie was created in 1999 with the ambition of bringing together, under the same estate, all the Premier Crus, Grand Crus and Monopoles gradually acquired by the Boisset wine merchant family since 1964. The Domaine de la Vougeraie is committed to a viticulture that is in tune with its vineyards and produces prestigious Burgundy wines well-known for their precision, purity, elegance and aromatic richness. The Domaine de la Vougeraie oversees 34 hectares of vines divided into 67 plots.
The vineyard
"Les Corvées Pagets" 2019 from Domaine de la Vougeraie is a Nuits-Saint-Georges Premier Cru wine from a vineyard of nearly 0.34 ares, planted in 1987/1988 and facing east. Farmed organically since 1998, this terroir is based on stony soils with a clay-limestone subsoil.
Winemaking and ageing
Vinification in parts for the whole harvest (45%). Vatting by gravity. Cold pre-fermentation maceration (12-15°C) for 5 days. Total maceration of 22 days, accompanied by two punchings of the cap during the vatting process, followed by one light pumping over per day until the end of the vatting process. Aged for 16 months in barrels (33% new).

This Nuits-Saint-Georges Premier Cru "Les Corvées Pagets" 2019 from Domaine de la Vougeraie is 100% Pinot Noir.
