The property
Under the wing of Albert Bichot, an essential Burgundy domain, the Domaine de Rochegrès oversees a 4.9-hectare terroir in the heart of the "Rochegrès" climate, where the granitic mother rock emerges among the vines. This exceptional terroir shapes structured, fleshy wines, rich in floral aromas.
The vineyard
The 2022 Rochegrès from Domaine de Rochegrès is a Moulin-à-Vent wine from a 2.20-hectare plot whose century-old vines rest, in the heart of the "Rochegrès" climate, on a poor soil of pink granite.
Vinification and aging
Aged in part in 350-liter barrels (60%).
Grape variety
Gamay (100%).
