The estate
Le Domaine Guy Amiot et Fils, founded in 1920 by Arsène Amiot in Chassagne-Montrachet in Burgundy, now cultivates 29 appellations on historic plots including the prestigious Le Montrachet Grand Cru. Led by Thierry and Fabrice Amiot (5th generation), the estate is distinguished by its strong female heritage and special cuvées "Flavie" and "Simone" paying tribute to the pioneering women of the family.
The vineyard
This cuvée comes from about a dozen parcels located at the bottom of the slope in Chassagne-Montrachet, benefiting from varied exposures from northeast to southwest. The vineyard covers 1.50 hectares of clay-limestone soils, planted with 50-year-old Chardonnay vines that impart concentration and complexity to the wine.
Grape variety
100% Chardonnay.
