Le Passage 2014 from Domaine Stephane Ogier is a unique wine from Saint-Joseph that beautifully expresses its granite terroir. In the mouth, it presents itself as fine, powerful and elegant. To be consumed until 2021-2026.
Coming from two hectares located around the region of Malleval, in the northern part of St Joseph, Ogier's 2014 St Joseph was completely destemmed and raised all in old oak. It's a fresh, juicy, yet character-filled Syrah that has ample darker fruits, wood smoke, pepper and violets in medium-bodied, very fresh, crisp style. Showing more granite-like minerality with time in the glass, it's a solid, balanced and high quality red to drink over the coming 7-8 years.
