A lively Burgundy white wine with beautiful complexity
The estate
The 50 hectares of vineyards of Domaine Louis Latour are spread over the finest parcels in Premiers and Grands Crus, stretching from the Côte de Beaune to the Côte de Nuits. Domaine Louis Latour is the largest wine estate in Burgundy. With more than 200 years of winemaking history, the Latour family also embodies the great tradition of Burgundy négociants.
The vineyard
South of Volnay and Pommard, in the heart of the Côte de Beaune, lies Meursault, the largest white wine producing village in southern Côte-d'Or. The stony, marl-rich soils, combined with an ideal southeast exposure, contribute to the remarkable finesse of Meursault wines.
Winemaking and Aging
Following careful selection at harvest, the grapes are gently pressed before undergoing fermentation and aging at controlled temperatures. The wine is then aged for 8 to 10 months in used oak barrels, 15% of which are renewed.
Grape variety
Chardonnay (100%).
