The estate
Acquired in 2003 by Jean-Paul and Nancy Bignon, the Domaine Saint Andrieu extends across the heights of the village of Correns, in Provence. Upon their arrival, the owners undertook a complete restoration of the Provençal farmhouse and winemaking facilities, while preserving the estate’s exceptional environment. Certified Haute Valeur Environnementale and Bee Friendly, the estate embodies a form of viticulture that respects its terroir and biodiversity.
The vineyard
L'Oratoire de Saint Andrieu comes from plots located at nearly 380 meters in altitude, benefiting from a remarkable microclimate. The vines grow on clay-limestone slopes that give the wine its mineral freshness. This elevation naturally preserves the grapes’ acidity and promotes the development of complex aromas within the Coteaux Varois en Provence appellation.
The vintage
The 2025 vintage allowed for optimal ripening of the grapes while preserving their natural freshness thanks to the vineyard’s altitude. Harvesting was carried out on a parcel-by-parcel basis, according to the maturity of each terroir.
Winemaking and aging
Crafted using a rigorous method that prioritizes delicacy, this Provence wine benefits from gentle pneumatic pressing. Low-temperature vinification preserves the fruity and floral aromas while maintaining a fine liveliness. Each plot is vinified separately, allowing for precise blending.
