40% Grenache Blanc, 40% Roussanne, 18% Clairette, 1% Picardan and 1% Piquepoul Blanc. Aged for 9 months, 40% in demi-muids, 30% in stainless-steel tank, 15% in new barriques and 15% in old barriques. Certified organic. Tasted blind. A bright nose with stone fruit and a nutty note as well. Lovely freshness really strikes you on the attack and is followed by toasty oak creeping in. The oak is very well judged and should integrate really nicely with that fresh core and attractive stone fruit. Very appealing for this ripe vintage. (AC)
