The property

Founded in 1825, the Domaine Faiveley is a pillar of Burgundian viticulture, with a seven-generation family history. Located in Nuits-Saint-Georges, it extends over 134 hectares, covering prestigious terroirs of the Côte de Nuits and the Côte Chalonnaise. Today led by Erwan and Eve Faiveley, the estate stands out for its rare monopolies, such as the Corton Grand Cru Clos Des Cortons Faiveley. Combining tradition and modernity, it embodies the pure expression of the terroirs, while contributing to the cultural renaissance of Burgundy.

The vineyard

Clos de la Roche is one of the most renowned grand crus of Morey-Saint-Denis. This exceptional terroir, facing east/southeast, extends over nearly 17 hectares of limestone soils. This particular geological composition gives the wine its characteristic structure and remarkable minerality.

Vinification and aging

After a traditional vinification respectful of the terroir, the wine spent 16 to 18 months in the vaulted cellars of the 19th century in Nuits-Saint-Georges, in French oak barrels.
