The producer

Founded in 1700, the Feudi del Pisciotto estate is an essential reference among the greatest Sicilian wines. Produced under the IGT Terre Siciliane appellation, Feudi del Pisciotto's wines are recognised by many critics around the world for their brilliance, complexity and refinement.

The vineyard

Feudi del Pisciotto watches over 44-hectare vineyard, composed of both indigenous grape varieties (Nero d'Avola, Frappato) and international grape varieties (Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Pinot Noir, Semillon and Gewürztraminer).

The wine

Produced since 2007, Feudi del Pisciotto's Grillo Carolina Marengo for KISA 2019 is a mono-varietal wine produced with Grillo, an indigenous Sicilian white grape variety with a unique freshness and aromas.

The vinification and ageing

Harvested in mid-September, the grapes are vinified in steel vats. The wine is aged in barrels for 8 months and then aged for a further 8 months in bottles.

The colour is a beautiful golden yellow.

Nose

This wine blends delicious fruity notes (apple, pear), typical of the grape variety.

The palate is seducing due to its richness and its fresh and perfumed finish.
