The estate
Nestled in the heart of the Languedoc, the Domaine Gérard Bertrand reflects its founder’s commitment to promoting the richness of Southern France’s terroir. With a history spanning several decades, this estate is renowned for its expertise in crafting wines that express with power and elegance the nuances of the Languedoc’s great vineyards.
The vineyard
The grapes for this wine come from the high-altitude terroirs of the Cévennes.
Winemaking and aging
Once harvested, the berries are put into tanks for a one-day maceration, allowing color and fruity aromas to be extracted. After malolactic fermentation, the wine is clarified and then aged in tank for 3 months.
