The story of La Pèira commenced in 2004 when Karine Ahton, a French lawyer, and Robert Dougan, an American film music composer, founded the winery.

Over the years, the estate has become a leading name in the appellation, spreading the quality and identity of Languedoc wines beyond the country’s borders.

Located in the Sainte-Brigitte area (Jonquieres/Saint-André de Sangonis), the estate reigns over a vineyard of 11.4 hectares that rests on alluvial soils composed of stony deposits. The vineyard is made up of multiple grape varieties, such as Syrah, Grenache, Mourvèdre, Cinsault, Carignan, Viogner, Roussanne, Marsanne or Clairette Blanche.

The estate produces wines within the IGP Pays de l'Hérault and Terrasses du Larzac appellations.
