Tasting
Colour
The wine shows a pale to light yellow hue with subtle golden or greenish highlights.
Nose
Very open and expressive, the nose reveals a fruity bouquet dominated by aromas of white fruit such as apple and pear, alongside notes of fresh yellow fruit like melon. The whole is underscored by delicate hints of citrus and a fine mineral backbone.
Palate
The attack is lively and incisive, delivering great intensity. The palate stands out for its broad, round and creamy texture, enriched with slightly buttery nuances. The finish is long, closing on a lingering aromatic freshness marked by elegant salinity and minerality.

The estate
Founded in 1979 by Jean-Paul Brun, Domaine des Terres Dorées is an essential benchmark in Beaujolais. Having started with just four hectares, the estate now spans some 57 hectares of vines. Renowned for its environmentally respectful approach and Burgundy-inspired winemaking, the domaine produces authentic, pure wines. Since the 2024 harvest, operational management and development have been entrusted to Domaines Roger Zannier. However, Jean-Paul Brun continues to support the estate by overseeing the creation of the cuvées, ensuring the continuity of the house's unique style.
The vineyard
Located in the south of the Beaujolais appellation, in the Pierres Dorées area at Charnay, the vineyard enjoys an exceptional terroir. The plots devoted to this cuvée lie on clay-limestone soils, particularly well suited to the white grape variety. The vines, around 30 years old, are farmed according to an environmentally respectful philosophy, favouring ploughing and limiting synthetic inputs in favour of copper and sulphur. The grapes are harvested by hand, only once they have reached full ripeness.
Winemaking and ageing
The Terres Dorées Beaujolais Blanc 2024 is crafted with a minimal-intervention approach. Following low-temperature fermentation in stainless steel and concrete vats, the wine is aged exclusively in vat on its fine lees. Regular bâtonnage adds texture and further aromatic complexity. The complete absence of oak barrel ageing preserves the vibrancy of the fruit and the natural tension of the terroir.
Grape variety
This wine is made exclusively from 100% Chardonnay.
