The estate
Founded in 1923 in Burgundy, La Chablisienne is the largest producer of Chablis wines and one of the most renowned winemaking cooperative in France.
The wine
This "Montée de Tonnerre" by La Chablisienne is a Chablis wine made from vines that are 25 years old on average, benefiting from a terroir made up of middle and upper Kimmeridgian soils, alternating limestone and marl with Exogyra Virgula.
Vinification and ageing
This Chablis 1er cru is aged for 15 months on fine lees, in vats and barrels.
