The estate
Lionel Gauby is the son of Gérard Gauby, the founder of the eponymous estate and a reference among the finest Roussillon wines.
The vineyard
Produced as a Vin de France, Lionel Gauby's Eau de Souche Pinot Noir 2020 is a Roussillon wine made from vines that are 50 years old on average. The vines are planted at an altitude of 340 metres on clay-limestone soils and rest at the foot of the Arclusaz mountain, in the Massif des Bauges GeoParc.
Vinification and ageing
Whole grape vinification. Aged for 9 months in a new 225-litre stockinger barrel, a used 500-litre barrel and a 380-litre amphora.

Pinot Noir (100%).
