The Estate
Founded in 1797 by Jean Latour in Beaune, the Louis Latour estate remains a family-owned property managed by the 11th generation of the Latour family. Based in Burgundy, it is the largest estate of Grands Crus in Côte d'Or, with prestigious plots in Aloxe-Corton and Corton. A pioneer of modern winemaking techniques since the 19th century, Louis Latour is distinguished by its bicentennial historic cellars and exclusive mastery of iconic plots like Corton-Charlemagne, combining Burgundy tradition with viticultural innovation.
The Vineyard
The "Les Chaillots" climate takes its name from the stony soil characteristic of this plot in Aloxe-Corton. Located in Côte de Beaune, this terroir consists of clay, sand, and alluvial gravel. The vines are on average 35 years old.
Winemaking and Aging
After manual harvesting, the Aloxe-Corton 1er Cru "Les Chaillots" 2022 is traditionally vinified in open vats with complete malolactic fermentation. Aging takes place for 10 to 12 months in French oak barrels with medium toast, with 35% new barrels from the Louis Latour cooperage.

100% Pinot Noir.
