Aloxe-Corton is an appellation in the Burgundy region of France. It extends over a total area of just over 120 hectares, spread over the municipalities of Aloxe-Corton and Ladoix-Serrigny. The wines produced in Aloxe-Corton are mainly Village wines, while the remaining 14 cuvees are Premiers Crus. Aloxe-Corton benefits from the varied terroirs of the Corton Mountain, with reddish brown soils, silica and chaillots. The red wines of Aloxe-Corton are renowned for their generosity, elegance, fruity richesse and wonderful structure. White wines, although more unusual in this appellation, are rather supple and reveal a marked minerality.
