The estate
Founded in 1834 in Tain-l'Hermitage, Maison Paul Jaboulet-Aîné cultivates a 125-hectare vineyard in the Rhône Valley. Now owned by the Frey family, with Jean-Jacques Frey as the current proprietor, the estate stands out for its conversion to biodynamics under the leadership of œnologist Caroline Frey. The house enjoys worldwide renown thanks to its signature cuvées and its regenerative philosophy. This historic institution masterfully combines respect for its prestigious terroirs with a contemporary vision of winegrowing.

The vineyard
The project dedicated to Petite Arvine led by Caroline Frey unfolds in Switzerland, in the canton of Valais. This exceptional "winegrower's garden" takes root on dizzying slopes laid out in terraces, composed of granite and loess. Farmed according to the demanding principles of biodynamics, these plots require constant manual attention to preserve biodiversity and prevent erosion. This alpine terroir offers unique conditions, endowing the native grape varieties with remarkable mineral tension.

Winemaking and aging
The winemaking methods applied to this Vin de France are strongly inspired by Burgundian traditions. Fermentation and aging take place in 228-litre barrels. In a minimalist approach aimed at preserving the wine's brilliance, texture and aromatic complexity, bottling is carried out without any prior filtration.
