Bin 2 Shiraz Mataro from Penfolds is a red wine produced in Australia on multiple vineyards in the appellations McLaren Vale, Barossa Valley, Langhorne Creek and Wrattonbully. The wine is aged for 12 months on average in French and American oak barrels. The Bin 2 Shiraw Mataro 2014 blend of Penfolds is composed of 82% Shiraz and 18% Mataro (Mourvèdre).

At tasting, the Bin 2 Shiraz Mataro 2014 from Penfolds displays a deep red plum colour. On the nose the wine develops aromas of black olives and black cherries mixed with spices and herbs. Then come secondary aromas of meat before notes of dark chocolate and licorice. On the palate, one quickly notices flavours of green tea leaf, as well as powdery tannins and tasty touches due to ageing in oak.
